Judging Process

The development of the judging panel for the Women in Finance Awards involves a collaborative approach.

To ensure professionalism and transparency, a judging panel made up of highly respected industry professionals with a broad range of experience was chosen to examine the submissions. Judging is allocated to ensure that there is no conflict of interest in respective categories.

The criteria for these submissions require all award entrants to complete a detailed online document, which may include written referrals and additional documentation to support their submission. The submissions were assessed against specific metrics and business performance parameters to determine the finalists.

Each judge was assigned a number of categories and asked to score each submission in those categories based on all documentation provided by award entrants. Several judges were assigned per category to ensure a range of expertise and opinions. The aggregate highest score determined the winner of each award.

Additionally, to ensure transparency, as part of the assessment The Employer of the Year  finalists were required to attend a panel interview with judges. Highly respected, independent industry judges were selected for the panel.
